This film is an autobiographic fifteen minute poem by artist Yung YY. In the five songs that form the EP Yoni Yosef, he tells very intimate stories about his own life. The five video clips that form this film, visually tell his story, starring the artist as himself. We chose to shoot the entire film on Kodak Tri-X B/W reversal film in super 8 format that has a very creamy mystical quality. This way the film allowed the story to become a dream rather than a reenactment. The original order of the EP is chronological 1,2,3,4,5 but for this film, we chose to tell it 4,1,3,2,5 as it allows the viewer to introduce Yung YY as he is right now. As they watch the film, they will get to know him better.
